Dreamy Summer Cocktail : Strawberry Cucumber Limeade

Magnolia Journal is my go-to place for seasonal inspiration; must-try recipes, gardening tips, gift guides, and journaling prompts to keep you grounded - all the things that make my heart joyful and enthusiastic for the change of season.

In this year's summer issue, Joanna Gaines shares fresh summer limeade recipes that sounded so delightful I literally ran to the grocery to stock up on limes.

I saw the title "Strawberry Cucumber Limeade" and my mouth started watering. I had to try it out - and add my own little twist.

Here's what you need to make a Strawberry Cucumber Limeade Cocktail:

These measurements make 2 cocktails with a little extra Hard Seltzer Limeade leftover.

  • 1/2 cup Homemade Simple Syrup (it's easy, I promise)

  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

  • 2 12oz cans of Original Ranch Water Hard Seltzer

  • 6 fresh strawberries (plus a few extra for garnish)

  • 1 cucumber

How to make it:

  1. Combine the fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and Ranch Water into a pitcher, set aside

  2. Muddle 3 strawberries and 3 thick cucumber slices in a glass

  3. Add about a cup of the limeade in your pitcher to the muddled mixture in the glass and stir to combine

  4. Strain the muddled mixture over a fresh glass

  5. Top with ice & garnish with a fresh strawberry or cucumber slice

  6. Serve!

Repeat this process for a second glass or double up on the muddled mixture if you want to knock out both glasses in one sweep.

The end result is a smooth, citrusy, fresh cocktail perfect for summer.
