So, scary movies are my jam.
Horror has been my favorite genre for as long as I can remember. I attribute the fascination to nights cuddled up with my mom watching horror films as I was growing up. Any who, I've seen a lot of scary movies. The slasher films (like Friday the 13th) and the gory films (like Saw) to the classics (like the Blob) and the B-rated films (like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes). With that, here are the best and the worst horror movies you need to watch in the month of October.

Happy binging!
MUST-WATCH
A horror movie that feels like it could legit happen to me tomorrow, is seriously scary. That’s why The Strangers has to make the list.
A Netflix film that by the description alone sounds like it could be boring, ended up being surprisingly scary! Surrounding a deaf woman who’s terrorized by intruders, the lack of sound surprisingly doesn’t kill the scary vibes.
The Babadook has a deep-seated meaning that is truly haunting. I wont spoil it, so you have to Google that after watching!
One of those "WF is happening?" films, but for all the right reasons.
Based on a Stephen King novel, you may know the tale already - Couple's weekend getaway that takes a turn for the worst.

I didn’t know what to expect, but so glad I watched it. A lot of unexpected events keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat.
Found randomly on the Amazon firestick, but now it’s available on Netflix! One of those, “so bad it’s good” films. And the clown is honestly terrifying.
A random Netflix find; No gore or psycho killer, but a unique story. Two thumbs up.
DON'T WASTE THE TIME
Simply too weird for my liking.
The previews hyped up this film so much, that I was extremely underwhelmed by the actual movie. And it left me with too many questions!
This is one of those, “oh, of course you have all the necessary skills to survive this incredibly strange, life-threatening predicament..” Not convinced.
Enjoy!
